East Chicago, Ind., November 23, 2021 – Cline Avenue Bridge, LLC, owned and operated by United Bridge Partners, is teaming up with the Northwest Indiana Food Bank this Thanksgiving to help local families celebrate the holiday with a hearty meal. Together with its partners, Cline Avenue Bridge raised funds to purchase and donate 60 turkeys.
The Cline Avenue Bridge partners who helped make this possible are Granite Construction, TranSystems, American Veteran Industries, United Rentals, and Calumet Waste and Recycling.
“Each month, approximately 25,000 people eat something that comes from the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana,” shared Amy Briseno, Food Bank of Northwest Indiana donor relations coordinator. “That number is even greater during November and December, due to more supporters and partnering organizations stepping forward to help bridge gaps that lead to food insecurity. We are thankful for this donation of turkeys from Cline Avenue Bridge and their partners which will bring a holiday meal to so many households this season.”
“Everyone deserves a chance to enjoy a special meal for Thanksgiving, said Terry Velligan, general manager of Cline Avenue Bridge.” “We’re honored to team up with our partners to support the
community that we are grateful to be a part of.”
